To reflect that this latest update is the largest since Istaria's inception, the design team created a new running name titled Istaria: Dralnok's Doom. The content update includes story quests, areas above and below ground to explore, monsters and many new items for players to craft and loot.

November 14, 2008 PHOENIX, Arizona - In order to dissolve recent rumors regarding copyright infringement of the dragons in Istaria, Virtrium LLC, developers of online game technologies and products, announced their approval of the Seawolf development team's dragon models found in the online social community of Second Life.
